Taijasa and Pratik took their focus off the glitz and glamour factor that is common part of every Indian shaadi, concentrating just on making their big day a classy, intimate affair with loved ones. And isn’t that the ideal way to do it? Its simply stress relieving to not think about whether your mamaji’s bahu has received the welcome gift basket or why the caterers haven’t put out the gajar ka halwa yet. Taijasa and Pratik’s wedding celebration was simple yet special.
Their haldi and mehendi ceremony was held at Taijasa’s home in Pune and had hues of bright orange and yellow in every element. Everything from the jhoola in the balcony to the gate at the entrance was decorated with an abundance of marigold flowers. The beautiful bride-to-be wore a coral and white anarkali lehenga designed by Anita Dongre, and accessorized her look with multi-strand pearl jewellery. The groom kept up to speed in his blue and white floral printed Nehru jacket, which he paired with a sky blue raw silk kurta, looking absolutely dapper!
With the help of Varun Punjabi, their Wedding Planner, this couple pulled off a wedding that was simple yet special. They planned their wedding by keeping in mind that one doesn’t need money to hold a lavish wedding affair, and money spent on the right things make a difference.
The lush green space at Oxford Golf Country Club, Pune, hosted their Saat Pheras. The venue itself was reason enough to keep the décor minimal – a vedi mandap decorated with Jasmine flowers and yellow + white drapes and a bed of flowers for an aisle – they truly did it with class!
The bride donned a Shyamal and Bhumika original. The flared, deep red lehenga and emerald green blouse with detailed floral resham embroidery paired with her regal gold jewellery was just plain stunning. The groom looked equally stylish in his ivory and gold sherwani by Shantanu and Nikhil. The gold-beaded, maple leaf pocket square added that extra touch of class to his entire ensemble.
It is true that marriages are made in heaven, but it’s up to the couples on earth to make it a memorable affair. This couple has definitely left us believing that true beauty lies in simplicity.

Grishma and Puneet’s wedding celebrations prove yet again that Pujabi’s do weddings with style!
This beautiful couple showed-off diverse styles with multiple pre-wedding photoshoots ranging from professional to Sunday morning brunch attires. Our personal favorite was the session held at an abandoned old fort. Puneet was dressed in a carbon black tuxedo and Grishma, a navy blue dress – they’re modern outfits set against a grim background gave the whole setting a perfect oxymoronic feel.
Celebrations continued with the sangeet ceremony held inside a beautifully lit banquet hall. This couple decided not to go with the conventional florally decorated stage, so they opted for a LED screen as a backdrop. Every dance performance had a different backdrop which took the fun element at this sangeet to a whole new high – definitely trend setting, we think!
Everything from the décor to the lighting was done with absolute class and style, but when we saw Grishma’s bridal lehenga and jewellery, we were completely mesmerized! The intricately designed gold necklace studded with marquise cut diamonds and gemstones made her look like the princess every girl dreams of being. Her kalidar bridal lehenga made in hues of rani pink and orange was definitely a good shift from the usual traditional red attire.
Ruspesh Ratna Umaria captured every moment from this wonderful wedding ceremony just perfectly.

Jagmandir, Udaipur hosted the wedding celebrations of Hetali and Harsjeet. Our favorite parts from this royal wedding ceremony – the bride’s shimmery gold lehenga, the funky Nehru jackets and most importantly the #BBH hashtag!
What good is a wedding ceremony without friends and family? And, we can tell how much this very fact meant to Hetali and Harsjeet. This couple’s union was full of colorful celebrations with the ones they loved the most. Each one dressed in gorgeous outfits without missing the funky element. Special props to the bride’s brother who pulled off the thali printed Nehru jacket effortlessly. But let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves; we can safely say that the groom definitely stole the show in his Gaumata printed white Nehru jacket and red kurta – Now how often do you see a groom looking so dapper?
But as we saw shots of the wedding ceremony, Hetali’s shimmery gold lehenga was absolutely mesmerizing; the intricate detailing and beadwork on the border, the sheer dupatta and choli – each element together with her traditional gold jewellery spoke of royalty and grandeur.
PK Suri has proved yet again that pictures can indeed take you back in time, help you relive the past, just as if you were right there.

In a world where modernism has met tradition, there’s no longer such a thing as a typical wedding. Zaheer and Lubaina broke free of cultural stereotypes by keeping it minimal and gorgeous. Easy camaraderie and happy close-ups of the couple remained the highlights of this ceremony. You can tell just by the pictures and the big grins on these two faces, the couple got it all right!
The groom looked quite dapper in a traditional beige sherwani and safa for the wedding. The bride donned an exquisite red lehenga and a modish blouse embroidered in gold. Her dupatta was wrapped around her shoulders in such a way that her gold jewelry was not hidden. For the reception, Lubaina opted for an elegant cocktail-meets-reception anarkali suit, which let the guests see the elegance! All the jewellery pieces added more to the bride’s ensemble and made her look like a million bucks.
With gorgeous pictures, courtesy Adrian R Photography, this wedding seemed like one big party. Hey, you ought to check out their sangeet frenzy to believe it. The wedding was planned to be like a fairytale one, with a lavish chandelier as a centerpiece and crisp interiors. Everything beamed in gold under the moonlight for the reception, and the decorator ensured that the colour scheme set the right mood.
Let’s take a look at a few images from their special day.
Don’t we all need a dose of wedding razzmatazz with myriad hues of emotions, rocking sangeet sessions and glitzy jewellery? That’s all we can say about Ankit and Dhwani’s wedding, which was all about the essence of traditionalism and humble beginnings. There was a certain innocence in the celebrations – right from the genuine smiles to the stolen moments between the couple.
We love the decor and how innovatively the flowers and lighting was done to spruce up the look of the venue. For those with a flair for the romantic, the couple didn’t shy away from celebrating love and entered through a big heart-shaped thermocol decorative piece. With cross-cultural influences, Dhwani wore a customised cream and red coloured saree, especially made keeping in mind her preferred color, weave and material. From her stunning green and coral lehenga for the sangeet to the easy elegance of the reception outfit, she looked like a traditional princess. The couple exchanged garlands in an exquisite Marvari style, and the handsome groom tied the Mangalsutra around Dhwani’s neck to seal the togetherness forever.
The functions subtly managed to bring both the family’s cultures together and it's all that really mattered in the end. Each function had its own charm and emanated a beautiful, colourful vibe.

Saijan and Siddhi’s union is what traditional south Indian weddings are made of – large family gatherings, lots of rituals and ceremonies and a whole lot of love.
This beautiful union took place in the holy premises of Kanyaka Parmeshwari Temple in Matunga, Mumbai. Holding hands together, this couple completed every Telegu wedding ritual in the presence of friends, family and loved ones. Dressed in classic gold and off-white attires, Siddhi and Saijan looked as sweet as the sound of their alliterative names.
Once things were made official, the celebrations continued in a stunningly lit banquet hall where everyone came to greet and bless newlyweds with gifts and flowers as they stepped into this new phase of life. This reception venue had a scalloped glass chandelier that added just the right touch of elegance to the florally decorated stage. Both, Siddhi and Saijan were dressed to perfection – Siddhi wore a sky blue saree, that was heavily embellished with beads and crystals, and Saijan too kept with her tone wearing an off-white sherwani adorned with bronze and gold beads all over.

Who doesn’t love Christian wedding ceremonies? Every element in it is absolutely magical. The dress, the vows, first dances, the toast – everything literally leaves us doe eyed; and we can safely say that Grisleda and Savio’s wedding will give you that magical feeling too.
Griselda took a little detour from the plain old simple white wedding gown and opted to wear an A-line silver and white wedding gown, and pulled it off perfectly. She wore shimmery silver pointed heels and a scalloped bordered white net veil and looked like a real princess bride. Savio, her handsome groom donned a carbon black tux and stood at the alter with a willing heart and open arms, ready to make Griselda his bride forever. Under the blessing of God, the Priest and everyone present there, this beautiful couple exchanged, vows, rings and kiss! Once the deal was sealed, the celebrations continued with dancing and toasting to this twosome’s new journey together!

It’s not every day that you see endearing wedding clicks which are not trying too hard to add that Bollywood zing or look snazzy. There’s something really appealing about the simplicity of Sebastian and Princey’s wedding vows. The couple wanted to keep it fuss-free yet special, and that’s exactly how we would describe this intimate affair. Our favourite bits at this wedding – the avant-grade outdoor setup, the firework display and all the honest moments captured by the proficient photographer.
As we put pen to paper for recreating their priceless wedlock and reception moments, we realised that our bride-to-be, Princey, knows exactly how to flaunt her shyness and elegance. Her understated and gorgeous diamond neckpiece, tiara and earrings for the church wedding do all the talking without distracting too much with the shimmer quotient. Standing next to her is the sweet, almost sincere-looking groom in a classic black blazer with a red tie – the right mix of a contemporary yet laid-back look. We are totally in love with the gorgeous purple and yellow décor theme with radiant drapes, fresh flowers and a minimalist wooden dove centerpiece.
The rigorous preparations that went in during the months running up to the wedding, made everything perfect on this day – just like it was meant to be. Special thanks to Adrian who managed to rightly seal glimpses of the real emotions, real expressions and candidness of the wedding day. He retained the quintessential traditional flavour with his pictures, keeping everything pretty and relatable.
Here’s a quick look at a few images taken from Sebastin and Princey’s wedding celebrations.
A beautiful blushing bride dressed in gold and red, a handsome groom dressed to match and a happy, happy family – this union had joy and laughter spread throughout every wedding ritual.
Rachna and Prajeet's big day was all things red and gold. From the decor to their attire, every element had hues of these colors that spoke of richness and grandeur. She paired it with a matching sheer dupatta and shimmery gold platform heels that matched her ensemble just perfectly! Her bridal accessories added a whole new level of grace. The kundan maathapatti, the matching necklace and the multi-strand gold rani haar left us completely spell bound! Prajeet the handsome groom matched his bride perfectly in a damask textured sherwani that had stunning accents of maroon velvet on the sleeves and neckline. Together this ethnically dressed couple completed every wedding ritual – from the varmala to the sindoor daan ceremony.
Once things were made official, celebrations continued in a beautifully lit banquet hall that held this beautiful couple’s reception ceremony. The stunning bride wore a pink and orange dhoop-chhaon saree and proudly held the hand of the man who vowed to love her for generations to come. His unusual ocean blue suit and matching tie had him looking absolutely dapper – we love the color schemes and the mixture of traditonal and modern attires seen in this wedding.

Nidhi and Sandeep showed us how they can go from professional to traditional in a breeze and their pre and post wedding photos are witness to that!
Dressed in sharp blazers and denims, this ravishing couple pulled off the ‘semi-formal white-collar executives’ look just perfectly. The pre-wedding shoot then continued to capture their rad traditional sides for which Nidhi wore a pure white embroidered anarkali lehenga that was gorgeously embellished with silver sequins and beads, while Sandeep kept it classy with his jet black three-piece suit paired with a red pocket square and matching tie.
Telling from their wedding ceremony photos, an extravagant South-Indian marriage ceremony was held at Iskcon, Juhu. A mandap decorated with an abundance of orange and yellow marigold along with fresh green ferns hosted the union of these beautiful souls. Nidhi wore a gold kanjivaram saree and accessorized her look with layers or traditional gold and pearl jewellery. A diamond studded bajuband added just the right panache to her entire bridal ensemble.
Sandeep and Nidhi made sure to capture every moment of their special day from start to end, so once things were made official, they engaged in yet another photoshoot! Nidhi, the beautiful bride wore a gorgeous maroon and gold velvet kalidar lehenga with a stunning diamond necklace set and the handsome groom kept it suave in his black suit.
